Rejection

I was there my child
When rejection raised it's ugly head
You were so very young
The circumstances weren't of your making
Yet you were the target
Target that utterly broke your soul

I saw your total bewilderment
You were left searching for acceptance
You desired those loving arms
But did not find them anywhere
You so much wanted comfort
Comfort in your valley of sickness

I was there my child
When you build that inevitable wall
To protect yourself, you thought
But it only isolated you more
I saw all your tears
Tears of brokeness and of despair

I saw you accepting Me
You knew it was the Way
Much time though was needed
To see My loving outstretched arms
To comprehend My unconditional love
Love you had been searching for

Now go...
And share what you know to be true

Look into my face

When there are no tears left to cry
When there are no words left to debate
When your brook Cherith has run bone dry
When the ravens have left for greener fields
When the pain is your constant unwanted companion
When suffering has numbed your senses beyond feeling
When all hope has long lost its meaning

Then my dear Child, look into My face

I've seen your tears, they're safe with Me
I've heard every sigh, your words have answers
I am the source that never runs dry
The doves of my peace continually surround you
My Presence is ever and always with you
My child, you are sharing in My sufferings
Hope manifest will be a tree of life
